A Model School in Rural New Brunswick

Produced by the John Fisher Memorial Museum, the online exhibition New Brunswick’s Macdonald Consolidated School looks at an innovative curriculum developed for rural students. By providing them with the skills they needed to succeed in agriculture, the school encouraged youth to stay on the farm, instead of leaving for the big city.
