Leonard Cohen: A Crack in Everything
Musée d’art contemporain de Montréal
2021
With an immersive auditory and visual experience, this project explores the themes that run through Leonard Cohen’s world — spirituality and humility, loss and longing, love, and poetic thought. Leonard Cohen: A Crack in Everything establishes a dialogue with works from the collection of the Musée d’art contemporain de Montréal and others created especially for the physical exhibition that opened in 2017.
A wealth of documentation, including audio and video content, songs, poems, interviews and self-portraits, lends even more depth to Cohen’s work, while exploring the connection that can be made with contemporary art.
