Anne Langton’s journals and “lost box” of miniature sketches reveal her contributions to Fenelon Falls, Ontario — including the founding of St. James the Apostle Anglican Church in 1835. Like social media today, her journals and sketches provide a glimpse into the culture, landscapes and people of Upper Canada at that time. It’s all in a day’s work for a 19th century Anglican churchwoman in Upper Canada.
