Following in the footsteps of a pioneering female physician

Produced by Musée régional d’Argenteuil — the regional museum she founded — this new project celebrates Maude Abbott, one of Canada’s first female physicians. Beginning with her childhood in Saint-André-d’Argenteuil, through worldwide acclaim as a cardiologist, to her return in later years, this intimate look at a hometown hero also explores Abbott’s enduring influence on the medical profession itself.
